Mike Rigby
C.E.O.

Mike founded MRA Research (originally Rigby Research) to bring new insight and direction to the building materials, construction and home improvements sector. With a solid background in both consumer and trade markets, including 10 years in marketing and research at Dulux paints, time as head of marketing at a national builder’s merchant and as marketing director of a national home improvement company, Mike’s knowledge is unrivalled. He instinctively understands the challenges facing the construction and home-improvement industries.

Lucia Di Stazio
Managing Director

Lucia joined MRA Marketing in 1997 and was appointed as a Director of the business in 2006 having spent almost 10 years working for our sister company, Rigby Research. In August 2016, she was appointed as Managing Director in a move to consolidate the next growth period.

Lucia’s considerable experience in research and in-depth knowledge of the home improvement markets helps to ensure our output always remains market focused and results driven.

Tom Rigby
Commercial Manager

Tom joined MRA in 2014, coming from a finance background with nearly 10 years’ experience working with High Street banks, turning around underperforming branches and building sales. Tom currently manages many of MRA’s commercial projects including the Builders Merchant Building Index (BMBI)

Anna Eriksson
Research Development Manager

Anna has worked with marketing, market research & insight since 2003. She joined MRA in 2019 from a market research agency that specialises in the construction and home improvement sectors, where she delivered quantitative and qualitative market research projects and researched, wrote and edited market reports & articles.

Laura Pardoe
Market Research & Insight Manager

Laura joined MRA in 2019 having worked with research, insight and marketing since 2000, in previous roles including UK Marketing Manager for BP’s LPG business and Head of Insight for National Trust. She has particular expertise in questionnaire design, customer satisfaction, KPI tracking, segmentation and customer profiling.

Jessica Paget
Head of Data Services

Jessica (Jess to us!) joined the MRA team in 2015. She has a background in the insulation industry where she had spent several years as an estimator. In her current role she spends her time setting up & managing quotas for research projects, managing our various databases and overseeing the research team.

Mandy Dobson
Researcher

Mandy is part of our team of experienced telephone interviewers. Working with MRA Research for over 10 years now, her experience in market research, ability to turnaround interviews against tight deadlines and excellent telephone manner ensures her work is reliable, consistent, accurate and on time.

Heather Cole
Telephone Interviewer

Heather has a background in customer service and sales, and joined MRA in January 2017 after nearly 15 years in retail banking. Heather is part of the telephone research team and is also the Commercial Manager for Windowbase, our national database window fabricators, installers and trade counters.

Lisa Price
Market Research Assistant

Lisa Joined MRA in January 2018, bringing a strong background in customer service and telephone skills. She has previously worked at HMRC for over 12 years as call centre and compliance manager, and at the NHS emergency call centre for 5 years. Lisa assists on market research projects and also works on Windowbase.
